Have you ever been to Lyndale Park Rose Garden? It's one of my new favorite spots for family photography. There is so much space for kids to be kids, and there are also so many places that are Idyllic for a shoot. The only downside is that every other photographer in Minneapolis knows this too! 

Shooting with Katie and Jens at the rose garden last week was just as idyllic as the flowers themselves. They are quality humans and quality friends. And it makes me so happy that photography is another way to spend some great time together. 

That's actually one of my favorite things about being a family photographer - I absolutely LOVE getting to know families. Whether it is the chance to meet an 11 year old obsessed with soccer, a 3 year old Elsa (or other frozen character) or their incredible parent(s)/guardian(s).
