Remember the good ol' days where our parents ran around with the cam corder? Often times there were videos of parents asking questions, almost like an interview.

These days, it's easy for us to grab quick video on the go, but we forget about the things we will want to remember later - the way our kids answer those questions about who they want to be. It's the things that will change over time but are so precious to us right now.

With video add-on, I have questions that I ask each member of the family.

• What's the silliest thing that happened this year?
• What do you want to remember about right now?
• What do you want to be when you grow up?
• Who are your children to you?
• and so many more, including any elements that you want to add

I call this the time capsule. Clients who do this every year will be able to see these videos in progression and watch how their family changes each year. 

In her own way, my mother did this for me - she was a writer. She would write letters to us about who we were, funny things we said, or important things we learned. This was one of the most essential things she did for me as I was in high school and heading to college. I would re-read these pages often as I was becoming an adult and developing my character. They reminded me of who I was and who I wanted to be. The investment from my mom reminded me that I was loved.
